-Evang. Timilehin Fasuan:
The reality of the end may be fading due to achievements, successes, and earthly glory that many have attained, but the reality has never changed; all things are coming to an end.
This was the mentality that strongly held the conviction of the Apostles as they passed through persecutions and pain. It gave them hope that they were going somewhere, and it’s called home.
As I checked through history, I saw a lot of influential people, game-changers. Then I asked myself, where are they now? Even though Jesus tarries, yet no one can purchase immortality here on earth.
The will of God should be the top priority in our lives. When you feel at home too much here on earth, you get carried away by many worries and cares. They are only temporary. What can you give up just to get to that glorious resting place? It’ll be worth it.
All things will fade away, but he who holds on to the faith, righteousness, holiness, belief, purity, and the unchanged gospel of old will inherit life in Christ Jesus and eternal rest for his soul at the end.
