Whether it’s a condition you were born with, a physical injury or sickness, an ailment influenced by demonic forces, or generational blood-related diseases or curses, the Word who created the heavens and the earth is more than able to change your circumstances and create a new you. However, you must pray, because without prayer, you can receive nothing.
The man born blind is an example of a “from birth infirmity”:
- John 9:1-3 : “And as Jesus passed by, he saw a man which was blind from his birth. And his disciples asked him, saying, Master, who did sin, this man, or his parents, that he was born blind? Jesus answered, Neither hath this man sinned, nor his parents: but that the works of God should be made manifest in him.”
The woman with an issue of blood is an example of a “physically oriented issue”:
- Luke 8:43-48 : “And a woman having an issue of blood twelve years, which had spent all her living upon physicians, neither could be healed of any, Came behind him, and touched the border of his garment: and immediately her issue of blood stanched. And Jesus said, Who touched me? When all denied, Peter and they that were with him said, Master, the multitude throng thee and press thee, and sayest thou, Who touched me? And Jesus said, Somebody hath touched me: for I perceive that virtue is gone out of me. And when the woman saw that she was not hid, she came trembling, and falling down before him, she declared unto him before all the people for what cause she had touched him, and how she was healed immediately. And he said unto her, Daughter, be of good comfort: thy faith hath made thee whole; go in peace.”
The woman who was bent for 18 years is an example of a “demonic oriented sickness”:
- Luke 13:11-13 : “And, behold, there was a woman which had a spirit of infirmity eighteen years, and was bowed together, and could in no wise lift up herself. And when Jesus saw her, he called her to him, and said unto her, Woman, thou art loosed from thine infirmity. And he laid his hands on her: and immediately she was made straight, and glorified God.”
The man whose ear was cut by Peter and Jesus placed it back is an example of a “physical injury”:
- Luke 22:50-51 : “And one of them smote the servant of the high priest, and cut off his right ear. And Jesus answered and said, Suffer ye thus far. And he touched his ear, and healed him.”
The man with the palsy is an example of a “sin-oriented sickness”:
- Matthew 9:2-6 : “And, behold, they brought to him a man sick of the palsy, lying on a bed: and Jesus seeing their faith said unto the sick of the palsy; Son, be of good cheer; thy sins be forgiven thee. And, behold, certain of the scribes said within themselves, This man blasphemeth. And Jesus knowing their thoughts said, Wherefore think ye evil in your hearts? For whether is easier, to say, Thy sins be forgiven thee; or to say, Arise, and walk? But that ye may know that the Son of man hath power on earth to forgive sins, (then saith he to the sick of the palsy,) Arise, take up thy bed, and go unto thine house.”
The leprous men He healed are examples of a “skin-related disease or scars”:
- Luke 17:12-14 : “And as he entered into a certain village, there met him ten men that were lepers, which stood afar off: And they lifted up their voices, and said, Jesus, Master, have mercy on us. And when he saw them, he said unto them, Go shew yourselves unto the priests. And it came to pass, that, as they went, they were cleansed.”
He is more than able to heal you as well. Never apportion power to Him, nor limit Him in your human comprehension.
